Tour Description

Two amazing buildings from the Ancient Roman period are still standing in perfect condition despite their age: 2,000 years old! Here we will walk in the steps of the Gladiators in their world-famous arena – the Colosseum, and then visit the infamous temple – the Pantheon. At the Colosseum you will hear real stories about crazy emperors and famous gladiators like Spartacus, and learn how this massive stadium was built. Following this, we will visit the Pantheon where you will explore the awe inspiring and largest ancient dome in the world. With its huge “oculus” (an open hole in the middle of the dome), you can take stunning pictures and discover how the sunlight creates amazing light shapes across the ceiling.
