Know before you go

You will be asked to show a valid ID, passport or student card (a picture on thee phone is OK).

Dress Code: shoulders and knees must be covered. Capri panths or shorts that cover knees are allowed. (the dress code is not required for children under 8 year old)
Only for women: if you want to wear sleeveless shirts, please bring with you a scarf to cover your shoulders in the Sistine Chapel.

Children (over 14 year old) and students (under 26 year old) must show an ID or student card, in order to be elegible for reduced tickets and prove their age (for children over 14 year old).

Children under 6 year old have free tickets.

General FAQs

What's the dress code for the Vatican?

Shoulders and knees must be covered. Capri pants or shorts that are below the knee are allowed. The dress code is not required for children under 8 years old. For women: If you prefer to wear sleeveless shirts, please bring a scarf with you to cover your shoulders in the Sistine Chapel. No large backpacks.
Is the price per person or per group?

The price is intended for a group or family up to 6 people. For bigger groups, please ask for advice.
Does the price include the skip-the-line tickets?

No, the price includes only the private tour. We will purhase the skip-the-line tickets when you book the tour, accordly to the number od adults and children (regular and reduced tickets)
Who is eligibile for reduced tickets?

Children under 18 years old and students under 26 years old. They must show a valid ID or student card to prove their age in order to be eligible for a reduced ticket. Children under 6 years of age have free entry.
Where do we meet the guide?

Your guide will meet you in front of the entrance of the Vatican Museums, that way the tour can start immediately. If you prefer to be picked up at your hotel, please inquire about this extra service.
What happens when you are late?

As soon as you book, we will provide you with the guide’s cell number so that you may call your guide to communicate any delays. The skip-the-line tickets have a tolerance of 15 minutes. This means you can enter the Vatican15 minutes earlier or 15 minutes after the time slot of your ticket. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your ticket is no longer valid.
Does this tour include St.Peter's Cathedral?

No, it does not. We can include it, just ask us for advice.
